BJP will face ‘tough competition’ if OBCs, Dalits, Muslims form a ‘Mahagathbandhan‘ in 2019

London: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Wednesday said that the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) would face serious competition in 2019 Lok Sabha polls if OBC’s, Muslims and Dalits form a grand alliance against the saffron party.

“If the OBCs, the Dalits and the Muslims form a ‘Mahagathbandhan‘ grand alliance then BJP will definitely face competition during 2019 general elections,” Ramdev was quoted as saying by a news agency.

But any such alliance has not yet happened., he added.

Elaborating about Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi’s Prime Ministerial ambitions, Ramdev said, “In Indian constitution, everybody has the right to aspire to be the Prime Minister. Rest is on the voters.”

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev, who is set to conduct Yoga sessions across United Kindom during his ongoing tour, said that it is a matter of pride that Yoga and spirituality are getting recognition.
