Bhopal: Election Commission issues notice to Computer Baba for holding Hatha Yoga for Digvijaya Singh

Bhopal: Considering ‘Hatha Yoga’ in support of Congress candidate Digvijaya Singh as a violation of code of conduct, the District Election Officer has issued notice to Computer Baba.

It has been decided to add the total expenditure of the programme to Digvijay Singh’s account. Seeing the videography conducted by the observer, the cost of the programme is estimated to be around Rs 4.5 lakhs. FIR can also be lodged against Computer Baba.

In fact, Computer Baba had performed rituals with seers on the New Safia College ground in Koh-e-fiza area in Bhopal. Digvijaya Singh also attended the event.

Permission was sought to conduct a religious programme, but after the arrival of Digvijaya, the program became political. Additional Returning Officer KK Rawat has issued a notice to the Computer Baba demanding a reply within 24 hours.

The BJP had complained to the Election Commission about this matter. It is said that since the programme concluded, Computer Baba is not in Bhopal.
