Kolkata: Three unknown assailants shot dead a worker of Trinamool Congress in West Bengal on Tuesday night. The incident took place in Damdam area of Kolkata.
According to the police, the deceased was Nirmal Kundu, Chairman of Trinamool in Ward 6. On this day, Trinamool workers from the Damdam Post Office sent about 10 thousand cards to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Jai Bengal, Jai Hind and Vande Mataram was written on the postcards.
Trinamool workers have sent 10 lakh cards to Modi. They have been sent to the Prime Minister’s residence at Delhi’s Lok Kalyan Marg, from Dumdum Post Office.
