Article 370/ 70 militants shifted to Agra from Kashmir, schools-colleges to remain shut, section 144 in force

Srinagar: After the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the central government is constantly monitoring the situation there. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is also in Kashmir. The news agency quoted sources as saying that 70 terrorists and separatists have been shifted to Agra. These people were brought to Agra by special aircraft of the Air Force. Meanwhile, the administration has said that schools and colleges in Kashmir will remain closed till August 10. Section 144 will also be applicable till further orders.

Earlier, Ajit Doval in Jammu and Kashmir had lunch with locals in Shopian on Wednesday after Article 370 was removed. Discussed the current situation with him. The central government has sent Doval to take stock of the security system in Kashmir.

Ban will be lifted from the state, says Secretary: The Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir has issued an order to all government employees of the state to return to work with immediate effect, including employees working at the divisional level, district level and the Secretariat at Srinagar in the state. National Security Council Additional Secretary SM Sahai said that I hope that the sanctions will be lifted from the state in the next few days.
