After ‘Race 3’ crashes at box office, makers drop the idea of ‘Race 4’

After Race 3 crashed at the box office in 2018, there were rumours that the makers – Ramesh and Kumar Taurani – were planning to cast Saif Ali Khan in the fourth part. However, both the brothers have denied the buzz.

“Race 4 isn’t happening because there is no script for it,” the Turani brothers said.

Race 3, which released last year, featured Salman Khan, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor and others. Unlike previous two films, the third part was directed by Remo D’Souza. The film was made on high budget but couldn’t do well at box office and even got average reviews. However, it was said that Salman was interested in doing the next part.

Saif featured in first two part of this action franchise, which were directed by Abbas-Mustan. Both the films did well at box office.

On the work front, Salman is busy shooting for Bharat with Katrina Kaif. He will begin Dabangg 3 with Sonakshi Sinha and then do Kick 2. Saif is currently shooting for Sacred Games 2 and has couple of other projects lined up.
