13 seriously injured as two groups clash on the day of Holi festival in Gurgaon

Gurgaon: There was a bloody clash between members of two groups over cricket at Bhup Singh Colony under Bhondsi police station in Gurgaon on the day of Holi festival. Members of one group barged into the house belonging to another community and brutally beat the family members with sticks.

The accused did not spare the women of the house. As many as 13 people were injured in the attack. Police have registered a case against 15-20 unknown persons. Videos of this event are becoming viral on social media. The women are seen pleading the attackers to spare them. But the accused youth are seen beating the victims with sticks.

The incident took place in Bhup Singh Nagar near Nayagaon on the afternoon of Holi festival. As many as 10 members of one group and three of the other have been injured in the attack.

The seriously injured include Sajid, Dilshad, Irshad, Shahbaz, Abid, Sabuddin, Nargis, Akila, Muskan and Samina. They have suffered serious injuries in the assault. Three people from the other group were also injured. Bhondsi police station in-charge Surendra Kumar said that the case has been registered against the accused under section 307 IPC.
