In Chhattisgarh’s Hadeli village, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) officials of 41 Battalion went out of their way to help a woman and her one-day old newborn reach a hospital.
The personnel carried the woman and her baby, who were critical, on a stretcher for a kilometer in rain from Naxal-affected Kondagaon on Friday. The woman gave birth to her child last night.
They left for PHC Mardapal in ITBP Ambulance this afternoon.
