Switzerland’s Xherdan Shaqiri put a stamp on his Liverpool debut with a spectacular bicycle-kick goal to round out the scoring in the International Champions Cup match in front of a crowd of 101,000 at world’s second biggest stadium. Sadio Mane, Daniel Sturridge and Sheyi Ojo also scored as Jurgen Klopp’s side ensured a rout. Manchester United’s 22-year-old midfielder Andreas Pereira scored his team’s lone goal in the 31st minute off a free kick.
Barca win on penalties
Los Angeles: New signing Malcom scored the winning spot-kick on his Barcelona debut as the La Liga champions beat Tottenham on penalties following a 2-2 draw in the International Champions Cup on Sunday. The Brazilian rolled home from the spot just four days after joining the club from in a €41 million deal from Bordeaux after Anthony Georgiou had missed for Spurs.
City rally to beat Bayern
