Rajkumar Hirani recreates ‘Munna Bhai’ With Ranbir Kapoor

New Delhi: The posters, trailers and teasers of Sanju are adding to the anticipation of audience as Ranbir’s resemblance to his character and his performance is raising the expectation level.

Recently, Rajkumar Hirani released another teaser of the film Sanju on Twitter in which Ranbir was seen recreating the iconic scene from the film Munna Bhai MBBS, captioning it, “Hope you have as much fun watching this scene from Munna Bhai M.B.B.S as I had in recreating it after 15 years.”

The scene that Hirani is talking about is the one where student Munna Bhai (Sanjay Dutt) pulls professor Dr JC Asthana’s (Boman Irani) leg by asking him a funny question in front of the entire class.

In the recreated scene, Ranbir Kapoor‘s body has been morphed on Sanjay Dutt’s apparently by using Digital Intermediate (DI) technique. Previously the same technique was used in cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s biopic MS Dhoni: The Untold Story where Sushant Singh Rajput‘s face was morphed on Dhoni’s face when scenes from his World Cup matches were used in the film as well.

Ranbir Kapoor has involved himself in Sanju so profoundly that the after effects of his diligent work are hard to disregard. The performing artist, who is assuming the main part in this Sanjay Dutt biopic has officially inspired numerous even before the arrival of the film. An ongoing clasp from the film has now gotten eyeballs, as it indicates Ranbir as Munna Bhai.

Also starring Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles, Sanju will be releasing on June 29.
