Bhopal: Seen usually shooting gold medals with a pistol at national and international events, tough as leather ace shooter Heena Sidhu has cut a dash with her latest photo shoot for a magazine cover, which has revealed her glamorous side.
The 2018 Commonwealth Games gold medallist was dressed to the nines in her recent shoot for the cover page of a national magazine along with other women achievers. She termed the experience as a welcome change. “Like other girls, we too like to dress up and look good so this shoot was a welcome change,” Heena told DB Post.
The cover page also features boxer MC Mary Kom, paddler Manika Batra, shuttler Saina Nehwal and trap shooter Shreyasi Singh. Speaking on the shoot, Heena said, “The shoot happened individually as all of us have very busy schedules but I really look forward to meeting them at the Asian Games.”
‘Bhopal facility best in India’
- Heena was upset after the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) ignored her for the Asian Games.
- She, however, said that her focus is now on future events.
- ‘World Championships follow Asiad. Olympic quotas are at stake at the world event, so I am working hard to ensure I am able to peak multiple times in 10 days as I have multiple events to compete in,’ she said.
- The acclaimed shooter also termed the Bhopal facility as the best in the country.
