New Delhi: There has been a lot of speculations about casting of fourth installment of Yashraj’s action franchise Dhoom. According to latest update, the film might introduce some new characters in this part.
“Dhoom has been a successful franchise and the makers are planning to bring it back soon. There has been a lot of discussion about casting and Aditya Chopra is in favour of adding few more characters in the film. He wishes to bring in few changes in the existing characters as well. So the team is working on script accordingly. Aditya wants to revamp the franchise and start with some new faces,” a source said.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the production house has denied the buzz.
The rumour suggests that there might be changes in both Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra’s characters. Both of them played cops in all three parts while the negative characters were essayed by John Abraham in Dhoom, Hrithik Roshan in the second movie and Aamir Khan in Dhoom 3.
It was reported that Salman Khan was asked to play villain but he turned down the offer because he was not keen on playing a negative role. The makers are said to have offered it to Shah Rukh Khan. It was also reported that Ranveer Singh too is being considered to play one of the important characters in the film but there is no confirmation on it.
