Extra-secure BlackBerry KEY2 smartphone launched in India at Rs 42,990

The smartphone with extra security is supposed to keep your data safe.

New Delhi: Optiemus Infracom, which manufactures and distributes iconic BlackBerry devices, on Monday, launched BlackBerry KEY2 smartphone with extra security to keep your data safe.

  • Manufactured at Optiemus Infracom’s Noida facility, the 6GB RAM and 64GB internal memory device will be available on Amazon.in from July 31.
  • It comes bundled with Reliance Jio cashback offer of Rs 4,450 and ICICI bank cash back offer of 5% along with additional launch benefits, the company said.
  • KEY2 houses latest Android 8.1 Oreo OS, a 12MP+12MP dual rear camera system with 2x optical zoom, an 8MP front camera and 3500mAh battery with ‘Quick Charge 3.0’ technology.
  • The BlackBerry KEY2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. It has ‘Speed Key’, a universal shortcut key that makes it possible to instantly access apps.
