Birthdays for me are about having a good time with your loved ones: Katrina

Birthday girl Katrina is spending some quality time in England with her family.

New Delhi: Bollywood’s Chikni Chameli turns 35 today. Ditching the regular lavish Bollywood birthday parties, the actress is holidaying in England and is spending some quality time with her family.

Her mother Susanna has posted a beautiful picture of Katrina sitting in the middle of hills and a field with a cake in front of her. The photo is captioned, “Happy birthday dear Katrina. May you receive all the love and kindness that you give to others.”

Nothing elaborate has been planned for her birthday as she prefers to spend time with her loved ones. Talking to PTI, she said, “Birthdays for me are about having a good time with your loved ones. I don’t believe in reminiscing too much. Every year I try and have a good time. I am at a place in countryside with my sister. I am happy about the day. It is all about having fun, chilling and relaxing. When I come back, I have to finish Aanand L Rai’s film Zero for which I have a song to shoot.”

“I don’t think you can ever feel 100 per cent accomplished and secure in your career because it is a rapidly changing industry. Things are changing so quickly. But now I do feel comfortable and confident here. I have had a career that has been successful. Going ahead, you have to put in that much hard work, keep performing and keep doing films in new spaces that are not only challenging but also interesting to the audience.” she added.

She took to Instagram to share some pictures of her holiday:
