Mumbai: Alia Bhatt has been receiving appreciation for her recently release film ‘Raazi’. Alia who played an Indian spy in Pakistan the film received positive feedback from critics as well as from audience. According to the latest buzz the actress has decided to increase her fees for upcoming films.
A source says, “Alia has been part of some of the successful films. In fact in the past two years all her films have done decent business at box-office. So far she has been charging around ₹5 crore per project but from now on she is likely to increase her fees by a couple of crores. For her new films she is going to ask for ₹8 crore approximately.”
‘Raazi’ which was set around 1970’s just before Bangladesh was formed, released earlier this month and have earned ₹88.48 crore so far. The film starred Vicky Kaushal, Soni Razdan among others and was directed by Meghna Gulzar, co-produced by Karan Johar. It is said that post success of this film the actress has apparently planned to increase her fees.
Alia has three more films releasing next year which includes, ‘Brahmastra’ with Ranbir Kapoor, ‘Gully Boy’ with Ranveer Singh and ‘Kalank’ with Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. She is also going to be part of Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s next film.
