Aishwarya’s ‘Fanne Khan’ to release on August 3, will clash with Irrfan Khan’s ‘Karwaan’

As two more films are releasing on July 13 and the crew is yet to complete shooting two more songs of the film, 'Fanne Khan's' release date was moved to August 3.

After facing many hurdles, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao and Anil Kapoor starrer ‘Fanne Khan’, which was to be released on July 13, is now staring at another roadblock.

As two more films are releasing on the same date and the crew is yet to complete shooting two more songs of the film, it’s release date was moved to August 3. Now, with the new date, the movie is all set to clash with Irrfan Khan’s ‘Karwaan’.

“All actors had busy schedules and getting a date from them for the shooting of a song took us a while. It is going take some time for the makers to complete the shoot. ‘Soorma’ and ‘Dhadak’ are also releasing on July 13 so the makers thought it was wise to avoid releasing ‘Fanne Khan’ on the same day. So they pushed the release date to August,” said a source, adding, “Shooting of two songs of the film is still due.”

Initially, Irrfan Khan, Mithila Palkar and Dulquer Salman’s film was to going to release on August 10 but it was pushed back by a week.

Directed by Atul Manjrekar, ‘Fanne Khan’ has been in news after producer Bhushan Kumar took over the film from Prerna Arora, one of the founders of KriArj Entertainment. Rumours were rife that the film’s shoot was delayed because of financial issues between the producers. Finally, Bhushan decided to produce the film alone.
